HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Avenue Bridge was hit again on Tuesday, according to TxDOT, marking the third time the bridge has been struck this year and the 76th since the start of 2025.

An 18-wheeler carrying a load too tall for its trailer prompted police to shut down I-10 near downtown Houston on Tuesday.
TranStar cameras showed the 18-wheeler stopped on the eastbound lanes of the Katy Freeway eastbound near Hogan Street with too tall a cargo on its trailer that appeared to be too tall.
