Foreigner is celebrating 50 years of music with a tour, and will include El Paso as a stop.
El Paso Live announced Foreigner will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at the Abraham Chavez Theatre.
The band released its self-titled debut album “Foreigner” on March 8, 1977. Their hits over the years have included “Cold as Ice,” “Urgent,” “Double Vision,” “That was Yesterday,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” and “Juke Box Hero.”
Foreigner will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at the Abraham Chavez Theatre.
“When I started Foreigner in 1976, I never could have imagined that these songs would carry us through 50 years and still resonate with audiences around the world,” said Mick Jones in an interview. “This anniversary is a celebration not just of the music, but of the fans who have been with us every step of the way.”
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at Ticketmaster.com. General admission tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.
