The Alamo

The Republic of Texas declared independence on March 2 and was its own country for approximately 10 years, according to The Alamo’s website. This local historic site is hosting its own annual independence celebration in downtown San Antonio.

Texas Independence Day Celebration

The event will feature living history exhibits, presentations, live music and more from the early 1800s.

Gruene Hall

Gruene Hall is hosting their annual Independence Day celebration on March 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1281 Gruene Road in New Braunfels.

Watch these iconic Texas creatures compete in a series of competitive races.

Live Longhorn Photo Opportunity

Get the chance to take a photo with a longhorn cow up close and in-person along with a vintage chuck wagon.

Texas Vendor Market

Featuring local artisans, entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations, this market will showcase Texas-made goods, creativity, artwork, food and more.
