HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — TranStar said a two-vehicle crash caused multiple northbound lanes on SH-288 to close on Tuesday, snarling the afternoon commute south of Houston.
Officials said the crash occurred near the McGowen Street exit in Midtown.
SkyEye was overhead, showing the aftermath of the accident. Images showed a damaged guardrail that was left on the shoulder and a vehicle being towed.

Traffic was backed up for miles, including onto Highway 59.
