Authorities issued an AMBER Alert for a reported child abduction in Austin on Tuesday night.
According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, officials are searching for 12-year-old Jazzlyn Anzora. She was last seen early Tuesday morning in the 1700 block of Wells Branch Parkway in North Austin.
Officials say Anzora is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs roughly 140 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, officials said.
She was last seen wearing a red sweater, a white long-sleeved shirt and Christmas-themed pajama pants, officials said. She was also carrying a black Nike backpack.
The suspect is identified as 18-year-old Henry Mejia, according to the sheriff’s office. He may be driving a red 2017 Ford Mustang with Texas license plate VVK2712. The vehicle has aftermarket chrome wheels and a sticker showing the Instagram logo on the passenger-side window, authorities said.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Meija is 5 feet, 9 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, and he weighs about 170 pounds. He has a shaved line on his eyebrow, DPS said.
