Two Dallas Mavericks veterans sustained injuries during Tuesday night’s game in Brooklyn.

Dallas ruled Khris Middleton out with a right shoulder stinger before Tuesday’s second half began. Middleton went down briefly in the second quarter when he bumped into Nets center Nic Claxton. The Mavs forward then went to the bench and was evaluated for a few minutes before he returned to close out the first half.

Middleton posted six points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal before he was ruled out. He came into Tuesday’s game averaging 16 points and 4.8 rebounds in four games as a Maverick.

Meanwhile, forward PJ Washington appeared to suffer an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter. Washington was in the process of catching a Marvin Bagley pass in the paint when it appeared he rolled his left ankle.
