Spring Break is just around the corner in North Texas, and if you’re a parent looking for fun ways to entertain the kids while they’re out of school, look no further. Across Dallas-Fort Worth, there are events, camps and more for kids of all ages, happening between March 6 through 22.

DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART SPRING BREAK 2026 FAMILY FUN

The Dallas Museum of Art will host a Spring Break program inspired by their current exhibition, Constellations: Contemporary Jewelry at the Dallas Museum of Art. Each day will include art-making activities, story times, sensory play, tours and gallery activities for the whole family.

SPRING BREAK CAMP AT SHARING LIFE

This collaborative family camp, led by Frida Muller-Espinoza of Cara Mía, helps all ages to create Nourish-to-Flourish art kits.

ART BREAK AT THE MODERN

Kids under 18 can partake in the Modern’s Art Break. Each day includes an artistic activity, including a conversation with a Modern docent or educator, a gallery project and complimentary food for kids 12 and under. On Monday and Friday, families are invited to enjoy the museum for free.

SPRING BREAK CAMP AT TRINITY RIVER AUDUBON CENTER

The Trinity River Audubon Center is hosting an all-day camp during Spring Break. Each day will have a special nature theme, such as Wildlife Guardians, Wild Art Studio, Splish Splash Science! and Creepy Crawly Critters.

SPRING BREAK IN THE PARK

Spend every day of Spring Break in the heart of Dallas at Klyde Warren Park. Each day has a theme, such as Music in the Park, Family Night, Art on the Go, Frontiers of Flight Museum Stem Activity, Perot Museum TECH Truck, SPARK! in the Park, Print Party with Work/Shop Dallas and more. There will also be movies in the park.

BATH HOUSE CULTURAL CENTER FAMILY ARTS BASH

Take the whole family to the Bath House Cultural Center for the Family Arts Bash. There will be family friendly art activities, dancing, storytelling, and activities hosted by local artists.

MOVIE NIGHT IN THE DISTRICT

SPRING BREAK AT THE CARTER: FOCUS ON PHOTOS

The Carter in Fort Worth is hosting a fun, photography-filled event inspired by the exhibition “Black Photojournalism.” All ages are welcome to participate in gallery games, art-making activities and creativity challenges.

SPRING BREAK ON THE FARM

At Nash Farm, Spring Break is filled with daily activities. Kids can learn about Grapevine’s rich heritage and participate in farm activities, including chores, games, activities and crafts.

SPRING BREAK AT THE NASHER 2026

Experience a pop-art remix at the Nasher inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s bold graphics and Robert Rauschenberg’s inventive use of everyday materials. There will be programming for all ages, featuring guest artists, interactive tours, collaborative projects and hands-on art-making.

ART & MUSIC FAMILY DAY AT HARWOOD PARK

Find creative, active, and educational fun at Harwood Park in downtown Dallas, plus hands-on crafts for the whole family.

SPRING BREAK BASH AT LEVITT PAVILION

Spring break in downtown Arlington features a slate of fun activities. Each night holds movies on the lawn, vendor markets, food trucks, story time, a DJ and live music. There will also be a “Reading Gets LIT at Booked for the Night” event and concert on March 20.

TRAIN-A-PALOOZA

Choo choo! The 12th annual model train show will once again be held at the Grapevine Convention Center. It’s OK if adults are as excited as kids!

DETAILS: March 14 and 15 at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St., Grapevine. Tickets will be $2 for children and $10 for adults.

FORT WORTH MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY SPRING BREAK KICK-OFF PARTY

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History are teaming up with community partners to host the Spring Break Kick-Off Party. Attendees can test their soccer skills with Fort Worth Vaqueros FC reps, play with bubbles, dance with Dynamo, and enjoy hands on fun.

DETAILS: March 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1600 Gendy St., Fort Worth. Admission is $12 for kids and $16 for adults.

CHILDREN’S DRAWING FROM THE MASTERS

Spend a morning at the Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University. It’s for children ages seven to 11, and parents must stay with their children. The session includes guided looking and informal drawing instruction. Participants are encouraged to bring their own drawing materials.

DETAILS: March 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Meadows Museum, 5900 Bishop Blvd., Dallas. Admission is free to $12.

SPRING BREAK AT THE HEARD

During Spring Break, the Heard will host nature story time, a bird walk and a wetland canoe trail. There will also be themed mini camps (think: Creepy Crawly, Owl Prowl Night Hike and Family Campout).

DETAILS: March 13-20 at Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Pl., McKinney. Prices range from $12 to $40 by activity.

SPRING BREAK FUN: PICNIC ON THE PRAIRIE

This two-hour event celebrates the sights, sounds and stories of life on the historic Grapevine Prairie. The event includes classic lawn games, learning about what prairie life was like and a boxed lunch from Weinberger’s Deli.

DETAILS: March 16-22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Settlement to City Museums, 206 W. Hudgins St., Grapevine. Tickets are $15.

SPRING BREAK AT SEA LIFE GRAPEVINE

Families can dive into Spring Break at Sea Life Grapevine. Visitors can explore an underwater world that includes an ocean tunnel, sea turtle rescue center, an interactive touch pool, jellyfish, colorful tropical fish, seahorse displays and more.

DETAILS: March 6-22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at SEA LIFE Grapevine, 3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine. General admission is $19.99.

FLIP CIRUS

Riders Field in Frisco will turn into a circus during Spring Break. Flip Circus was created by the Vazquez family and will feature mind-bending magic, comedy, juggling, trapeze, martial arts, plus more performances.

DETAILS: March 13-30 at Riders Field, 7300 Rough Riders Trail, Frisco. Tickets start at $20.88 for children and $31.16 for adults.

OMNIUM CIRCUS

Watch an inspiring show, featuring the theme “I’m Possible,” by the Omnium Circus. The show features deaf singer-songwriter Mandy Harvey, an America’s Got Talent finalist and golden buzzer winner; a deaf ringmaster, Malik Paris; six-time Para Climbing World Cup Gold Medal Champion Melissa Ruiz; and Special Olympics Silver Medal-winning aerial artist Danny Franzel.

DETAILS: March 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. at The Atrium, 300 N. 5th St., Garland. Tickets are $21.99 for youth and $27.19 for adults.

SPRING BREAK CAMP AT MESQUITE ARTS CENTER

The School of Yes is teaming up with the Mesquite Arts Center to put on a Spring Break camp. Kids ages six through 15 can do fun artistic activities guided by Frida Muller-Espinoza of Cara Mía .

DETAILS: March 16-20 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Mesquite Arts Center, 1527 North Galloway Ave., Mesquite. The family camp fee is $25.

PREHISTORIC PARK

Travel back to the age of dinosaurs and learn about Grapevine’s prehistoric past while gazing at animatronic dinosaurs. Visitors can also participate in boneyard games, a dig site and the Dinos after Dark event. They can also check out exhibit displays and amber fossil crafts.

DETAILS: March 14-29 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Meadowmere Park & Campground, 3000 Meadowmere Lane, Grapevine. Cost is $29 per vehicle.

SPRING BREAK AT EPIC WATERS INDOOR WATERPARK

Now until after Spring Break, Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark will have circus acts, hands-on activities, creative crafts and interactive games. There will also be mystical mermaids and 12 water slides.

DETAILS: Continues through March 23 at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, 2970 Epic Place, Grand Prairie. Tickets range from $34 to $64.

MEOW WOLF GRAPEVINE’S THE REAL UNREAL BRAIN BEAN BUDDIES

Explore the new, limited-time, plant-inspired Spring Break experience, Brain Bean Buddies, at Meow Wolf Grapevine. Guests can discover hidden details, solve creative puzzles and unlock tactile surprises hidden throughout the exhibits.

DETAILS: March 14-22 at Meow Wolf Grapevine’s The Real Unreal, 3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy. Suite 253, Grapevine. Prices range from $36 to $42.

ARLINGTON PARKS, RECREATION & CULTURE SPRING BREAK CAMPS

The city of Arlington is hosting Spring Break camps for kids ages five through 12. The camps will take place at multiple recreation centers across Arlington. Daily, kids can playing games, participate in an array activities and munch on an afternoon snack. There are also mini camps available that will have a focus on cooking and sports. A Spring Break Palooza will take place the evening of March 13 at East Indoor Pool and admission is $8.

DETAILS: March 16-20 at multiple Arlington recreation centers. The enrollment fee is $150-$160 per child, depending on the venue. Mini camps are $40-$90 per child.

SPRING BREAK CAMP: QUEST FOR THE GOLDEN SPADE

Texas Discovery Garden invites children six to 10 years old to become an explorer and embark on a quest for the golden spade. Kids will get to participate in a week-long science-based camp that combines immersive storytelling, hands-on STEM investigations, puzzle solving and nature adventures.

DETAILS: March 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Texas Discovery Gardens, 3601 Martin Luther King Jr., Dallas. Cost is $170 for members and $200 for non-members.

LEWISVILLE LAKE ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING AREA SPRING BREAK CAMP!

Over Spring Break, campers ages seven to 12 can participate in an outdoor adventure camp that will have activities across its 2,600 acres. Each day will be themed and campers will get to partake in activities that include outdoor skills, kayaking and more active fun.

DETAILS: March 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area, 201 E. Jones St., Lewisville. The cost is $180 per camper.

FRONTIERS OF FLIGHT MUSEUM SPRING BREAK CAMPS

Current first to fourth graders can partake in a multi-world adventure at Operation Exploration. Campers will get to travel across space, land and sea as they investigate what shaped the universe and the planet. There will be STEM challenges, creative engineering tasks, real-world problem solving and more science activities.

DETAILS: March 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field, 6911 Lemmon Ave., Dallas. Price is $310 for members, $350 for non-members and $10 per day for the after camp.

DALLAS CIRCUS CENTER SPRING BREAK CAMP

Join the circus during Spring Break! Kids ages six to 16 can learn circus skills, including ground apparatus, aerial apparatus, trampoline, flying trapeze, aerial fitness and intro to aerials. There is also after-camp care offered for an extra $20 per day.

DETAILS: March 16-20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dallas Circus Center, 2355 W Northwest Hwy., Dallas. Cost is $100 a day; you save $100 if you book all 5 days.
