The end of the regular-season schedule is nigh as Florida basketball hits the road to face the Texas Longhorns on Wednesday night in Austin. Below is everything you need to know to follow the SEC action via TV and live stream, as well as betting odds and predictions.

The Gators have won seven straight and have trended upward in meteoric fashion back into the top 10 of both major polls. Todd Golden’s team is among the top 10 in the NCAA Tournament selection committee’s initial top 16 seeds ahead of March Madness.

The Horns have put up a mediocre 17-10 record and an 8-6 mark in SEC play while still clinging onto hope in the major bracketologies. They had won four straight before the Georgia Bulldogs beat them in Athens last Saturday.

There is no major reason for concern against a fading Texas team, but one can never feel comfortable on the road — particularly against fellow SEC peers. There is no place for complacency on the road to the tournament and Wednesday night will be yet another gut check for the Gators.

The oddsmakers are right: Florida will prevail. However, the total score will exceed the over/under while Florida’s margin of victory ends up in the double-digits.

PREDICTION: Florida 89, Texas 77
