LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – Early voting in the Texas primaries continues, with the deadline to cast a ballot before Election Day now less than a week away.
On Day 7 of early voting, nearly 1,400 Democrats voted in person, with an additional 16 mail-in ballots received. On the Republican side, more than 200 voters showed up to the polls, with one mail-in ballot counted.
Across both parties, more than 15,000 people have voted during the early voting period.
The last day to vote early is Friday, Feb. 27.
