A 67-year-old man riding a bicycle died after colliding with an Arlington ISD school bus on Feb. 18, police said.

William Roberts was thrown from his bicycle during the collision and found by officers at 2:34 p.m. lying near the intersection of Treecrest Drive and Interstate 20 frontage Road, Arlington police said in a news release Wednesday.

Police said the collision happened as the bus was making a right turn at the intersection, and Roberts approached on his bike without a helmet.

The bus driver immediately stopped, called 911 and provided aid to Roberts. Four students were on board the bus during the collision, police said.
