LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Texas Department of Public Safety says a 45-year-old Brownfield man was killed in a crash on US HWY 62 on Tuesday morning.
According to an early investigation by DPS, a semi-trailer driven by a 74-year-old Lubbock man was driving southwest on US 62 when it turned into a crossover to turn northeast on the highway.
When doing so, the semi-trailer stalled in the northeast-bound lanes leading to 45-year-old Rolan Tomlison hitting the front right of the trailer and becoming wedged under the rear of the vehicle.
Tomlison was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
