Fort Worth police are investigating a shooting that injured one man Wednesday, Feb. 25. The suspect is still at large.
A man was injured in a shooting near the Fairmount neighborhood on Wednesday morning, Fort Worth police said.
Officers responded to the intersection of Hemphill Street and West Arlington Avenue, in south Fort Worth, about 9:30 a.m. after someone called 911 to say he’d been shot. The man received a gunshot wound in his lower extremities, according to police.
A suspect has not been arrested, police said, and they’re investigating what led to the shooting.
The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment, and his condition is unknown.
