AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is asking the public for help identifying a suspect connected to a criminal mischief incident at a Central Austin construction site last December.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at approximately 1:12 p.m. at 513 W. Odell Street.

According to authorities, the suspect entered the construction site by squeezing through the gate and caused over $4,000 in damage to the home’s electrical wiring by cutting and ripping out multiple lines.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5’6”, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and a trimmed beard, last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and gray-and-black Vans sneakers.
Anyone with information is urged to submit tips anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for tips that lead to an arrest.
