New Deal is introducing a brand-new farmers market, and it’s already shaping up to be a solid addition to the area. And before anybody rolls their eyes—don’t. I live in north Lubbock near the Lubbock Business Park, which puts New Deal just nine minutes from my driveway. It takes me more than twice as long to get out to Wolfforth. New Deal is practically around the corner.

Of course, Lubbock’s Downtown Farmers Market is still the OG and absolutely worth the trip. But if you want to mix things up on a Saturday morning, New Deal just might become your new go-to.

Grand Opening Details For The New Deal Farmer’s Market

The grand opening is set for Saturday, April 4th, and it’ll be hosted by Feed King. Visitors can expect farm-fresh milk, eggs, fruit, baked goods, local honey, artisan goods, and even a concession trailer or two. This one gives off the vibe of a true farmers market—not just a flea market with produce sprinkled in.

If you’re interested in being a vendor, just reach out to the folks at Feed King in New Deal. Other than that, we welcome them to the game and wish them all the luck in the world.
