Covenant Children’s and Spirit Halloween celebrated their 16-year partnership with their annual donation presentation, totaling more than $53,500, the largest gift in the history of the Spirit of Children fundraiser.
Since the start of their partnership, Spirit Halloween has donated close to $375,000 to Covenant Children’s. These funds support the hospital’s Child Life Department, helping create a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young patients and their families.
This year’s donation will fund critical resources such as bedside play tools, sensory items, comfort objects, music therapy materials, creative arts experiences, and therapeutic playroom activities. These resources play an essential role in reducing stress and helping children cope during hospitalization.
Past donations from Spirit of Children helped expand Covenant Children’s programming by funding a part-time child life specialist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting the Artists in Residence program, and updating and restocking Lindsay’s Playroom.

We are thankful for the community who continues to support the children and families receiving treatment here each day. As the region’s only faith-based, licensed, free-standing pediatric hospital, Covenant Children’s remains deeply grateful for Spirit Halloween’s continued partnership and for the generosity of community members who support the annual Spirit of Children campaign.
