ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington’s Arth Sinha has been named the Western Athletic Conference’s Men’s Co-Golfer of the Week, splitting the honors with Abilene Christian’s Thomas Buisson. The honor comes off the heels of a second-place finish for Sinha at the 2026 Military City Collegiate in San Antonio.
Sinha carded rounds of 74-70-72 for an even-par 216 at the tournament. The freshman was one of just three golfers in the 69-player field to finish even-par or better. Sinha finished just one stroke back of UTSA’s Joshua Hong, the tournament winner.

Sinha and the Mavericks will be back in action when they compete in the R.E. Lamkin Invitational beginning March 9 at the San Diego Country Club in San Diego.
