Two men were arrested after a shooting in Grand Prairie on Wednesday that killed two men, according to a news release from the Grand Prairie Police Department.

Officers responded at 2:30 p.m. to a shooting in the 2400 block of South Carrier Parkway, where they found a man in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds, the release said.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Police said a second man with gunshot wounds fled the scene but was later transported to a local hospital, where he too was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the two men who died were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a gunfight.

Cameron Mills, 18, and Jeremiah Anderson, 18, were arrested and each face a capital murder charge, the release said.

The identities of the victims were not released.
