If your calendar’s looking a little too empty, Austin has plenty of ways to fix that this week — from Black History Month events to Lunar New Year celebrations and a few classic “only in Austin” hangouts. Sarah Wolf, Founder of Good Party ATX, stopped by to tell Trevor Scott and Sierra Waggoner all about it. But first, she introduced WAA viewers to sweet Fern, an adorable adoptable pup from Austin Dog Rescue.
“Fern is with Austin Dog Rescue. Just look at her! Cute size. She’s only about 35 pounds. She is a beagle mix of some sort. You can see she’s just all the cutest parts of a dog. She’s around three years old and she was in a community shelter in Gonzales, Texas, a little south of us, and her foster took her in through Austin Dog Rescue for the freeze because she was in an outdoor kennel, and we wanted her to be warm. And she has been in foster care since. And through that, we know that she’s good with other dogs. She’s crate trained, and she loves going for walks. She is easy to get along with and literally checks off all the boxes. She’s just an easy dog ready to go home.”
