(KBTX) – Four of Texas A&M football’s record 13 participants in the 2026 NFL Combine took the field Thursday, as drills began inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.
Thursday’s workouts featured perspective defensive lineman and linebackers, which included defensive tackle Albert Regis, edge Cashius Howell, defensive tackle Tyler Onyedim and linebacker Taurean York.
A&M linebacker Scooby Williams did not run any drills Thursday.
Howell was a top performer for the Aggies in the 10-yard split, finishing as the top edge rusher with a time of 1.58 seconds. Howell’s 40-yard dash time was fifth among defensive ends with a time of 4.59 seconds.
Regis jumped the farthest of any defensive tackles with a 9-foot, 8-inch leap in the broad jump. He paired that with the second-highest vertical of all the defensive tackles that jumped at 34 inches. He trailed only Oklahoma’s Gracen Halton’s 36.50 inches.
The combine continues Friday at 2 p.m. as defensive backs and tight ends take the field, which will included A&M’s Nate Boerkicher and Will Lee III.
