SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — President Trump is headed to the Lone Star State, and Corpus Christi will be landing spot for Air Force One.
Energy is expected to be the focus of the visit, although the economy will also be a topic of discussion during what some are calling Trump’s ‘affordability tour.’
The visit comes just before the state’s Republican Senate primary on March 3, and many are wondering if Trump will take advantage of the opportunity to endorse a candidate in that race. So far, Trump has yet to back Attorney General Ken Paxton, Senator John Cornyn, or Representative Wesley Hunt of Houston.
Some say Trump is picking the right time to come to Texas just days after delivering the longest State of the Union address in U.S. history on Tuesday.
Stay tuned to 550 KTSA and FM 107.1 for the latest on Trump’s visit to Texas.
