Community members across West Austin, Lakeway, Bee Cave and Spicewood have a handful of events to check out in March and April. Individuals can find free live music performances, film and TV showcases, and participate in an Easter extravaganza. This list is not comprehensive.

Live on the Lawn
The free music series lasts three months and features musicians from a range of genres including country, punk rock and alternative rock. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to be comfortable while enjoying the event.
2026 Benefit Concert: Celebrating 40 Years of LTEF
The Lake Travis Education Foundation is celebrating four decades working towards its mission to promote and support students. The 80s-themed fundraiser will include drinks and entertainment by The Spazmatics and food trucks. Proceeds will fund teacher grants and teaching positions in LTISD.

The Austin-based Americana/folk-rock band will perform three-part harmonies and story songs as part of Spicewood Arts’ 26th season of Spicewood Live! On Stage! Attendees can purchase food from It’s All Good BBQ, who will be on site throughout the event.
A Night with the Austin Symphony Orchestra
The symphony orchestra will collaborate with musicians from Lake Travis High School for the sixth annual event. This year the high school’s 52-student varsity mixed choir will be joining the performance with an a capella performance of “Vamuvamba” by Mganga.

Community members can join nonprofit Aging is Cool to get ready for the upcoming Oscars award show by chatting about Academy Award-winning films from the past.
Austin’s Rodeo Half-Marathon
Runners can participate in the half-marathon, which features a course with loose and exposed rock, short steep climbs and descents, and uneven footing. Participants will receive a custom event T-shirt and rodeo-style buckle.

The city’s annual Easter celebration will feature age-specific egg hunts, local food vendors, a petting zoo, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny and additional activities.

Community members can stay active with the kids fun run for ages eight and under and a 5K which will feature awards for various age groups. All proceeds will support the nonprofit Rollingwood Women’s Club.

Sumi-E Society of America 63rd Annual National Juried Exhibition
The annual exhibition will showcase East Asian brush painting and calligraphy—art forms taught through master-student lineages that require years of practice to master. Cash awards and more will be awarded to participating artists.
