EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4)– All lanes closed in East El Paso following a collision at Hawkins South and Gateway West.
TXDOT confirms that all lanes are currently closed in the area as crews respond to the scene. Drivers are being urged to follow the designated detour routes while the roadway remains shut down.
Officials describe the backup as minor at this time, but congestion could increase as traffic is redirected. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and allow extra travel time.
