Georgetown locals can check out these events happening in March, including a photography festival, a tea party and an outdoor activity day.

Amplify WilCo Day

The third annual event will benefit over 90 nonprofits serving Williamson County. The day of giving is hosted by I Live Here I Give Here and will support local organizations, including Ay Chihuahua Rescue, Central Texas Food Bank, Hope Alliance and more. Residents can make early donations leading up the event, which will contribute to the day’s overall total.

Water Conservation Expo

The city of Georgetown invites residents to the fourth annual expo for the opportunity to learn about water conservation and native landscaping. Residents can visit the second floor of the Georgetown Public Library to explore exhibits, hear from water experts, see live demonstrations and learn how to implement conservation strategies at home. There will also be children’s activities, refreshments, door prizes, giveaways and local vendors. Registration is not required, but encouraged.

Royal Tea Party

Children are invited to participate in a whimsical gathering at Garey House. The party will include snacks, crafts and more. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their royal outfits.

Rec on the Go

Georgetown Parks and Recreation will bring a lineup of free activities, such as obstacle courses, hula hoops, bubbles, sports games and relays to Woodlake Park. Attendees can enjoy lawn games, music and giveaways.

Community Blood Drive

The Georgetown Recreation Center is partnering with We Are Blood to encourage community members to donate blood. Walk-ins are accepted, but donors who make an appointment online or over the phone will be prioritized. Donors must be at least 17 years old and meet certain criteria related to weight, blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Participants will receive free snacks and the chance to win prizes.

Dances for Adults with Disabilities

The city of Georgetown will host a Spring Fling for adults with disabilities in the community. Attendees should be accompanied by a family member or caregiver. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

State of our City

Georgetown will host the seventh annual address showcasing major projects and programs from 2025 with a look at what’s next in 2026. The event will feature presentations from the mayor and city manager. City staff and consultants will also have booths and engagement opportunities at the event. Refreshments will be provided and food trucks will be onsite

Iron Rite Tattoo South will offer flash tattoos, raffles, door prizes, merchandise, drinks and sweets. Each tattoo artist will create a number of palm-sized designs.

Style Show & Silent Auction

The Georgetown branch of the American Association of University Women will host a style show, silent auction and luncheon to benefit women finishing their master’s degrees, doctoral degrees or conducting research. The event will feature clothing from Glamourous Fashions by Maryann Patterson. The silent auction will include gently used purses accompanied and accessories. After the lunch, attendees can try on and purchase clothing from the show.

Texas Photography Festival

The annual festival will feature ten images from 12 selected photographers across Texas. The photos will be displayed inside participating businesses on the Georgetown Square. The event will include photo walks, educational workshops, a keynote speaker and networking opportunities.
