A 36-year-old man is in custody and faces an aggravated assault charge after a family violence stabbing Thursday, Feb. 26, in south Fort Worth.

A man was stabbed in a family violence incident late Thursday in south Fort Worth, and a 36-year-old suspect is in custody, police said.

Officers were called to the 4700 block of Ocean Drive about 10:40 p.m. They found a man lying in the street with puncture wounds in his chest and left side. According to police, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Family Violence Unit is investigating the stabbing. Keith Savage was arrested and faces an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence charge, according to Fort Worth City Jail records.
