Among the thousands of Halloween attractions offering frightful fun throughout the country right now, there is one experience with scares that stand above the rest. And you’ll find it in a 100-year-old abandoned meatpacking plant in a part of Texas once known as “Hell’s Half Acre.”

For the third time since 2021, Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth topped USA Today’s 10BEST list of the Best Haunted House/Attractions in America. In addition to a whole host of awards and accolades, it also holds a Guinness World Record for the “World’s Largest Walk Through Haunted House.”

For 35 years, Cutting Edge has been scaring visitors from the moment they enter the parking lot. Next, a 55-minute tour leads guests through a building that might actually be haunted. Through twisting corridors and multiple stories, guests encounter terrifying live actors, special effects, and nightmarish monsters.

Cutting Edge Haunted House is open on select week- and weekend nights through Saturday, November 1. Tickets start at $29.99 but vary depending on the night. For tickets and more information, visit cuttingedgehauntedhouse.com.
