Two people are dead and another injured after a collision and vehicle fire Friday, Feb. 27, on the I-35W service road in south Fort Worth.

A major crash in south Fort Worth near Interstate 35W late Friday killed two people and sent another to the hospital, officials said.
Officers responded to reports of a car on fire on the northbound I-35W service road near West Risinger Road about 9:15 p.m. Two vehicles had collided at that location, according to police.
Fire units were also dispatched to assist, Fire Department spokesperson Craig Trojacek said. Two people died at the scene; another person was taken to a hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries isn’t clear.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will publicly identify those who died. More details about the crash were not immediately available.
