HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women’s Basketball closes the regular season with a 2 p.m., Sunday meeting against UCF inside Fertitta Center for its Senior Day game.
 
Houston will honor senior guard TK Pitts, graduate guard Briana Peguero, graduate forwards Amirah Abdur-Rahim and Amani Bartlett during the pregame senior ceremony. Fans are encouraged to wear Houston blue and stay after the game for postgame autographs with the seniors.

THE GAME


Sunday marks the 33rd all-time meeting between Houston and UCF.
UCF leads the series, 24-8.
Houston looks to pick up its second Big 12 victory of the season.
Head Coach Matthew Mitchell faces UCF for the first time in his career, but meets UCF Head Coach Sytia Messer for the second time.
Mitchell and Messer met during the 2010-11 season as Kentucky defeated Tennessee Tech, 77-53.
TK Pitts, Briana Peguero, Amani Bartlett and Amirah Abdur-Rahim will be recognized during the pregame senior ceremony.

 
LAST TIME OUT 


Houston stumbled in its final road game of the regular season against Arizona, 75-67, on Tuesday.
Kyndall Hunter led the Cougars with 21 points, including five 3-pointers made for her fifth game this season, scoring 20+ points.
TK Pitts recorded 12 points and secured seven rebounds to reach 500 rebounds in her career. Graduate forward Amirah Abdur-Rahim ended the night with 10 points.
