LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After a huge 82-73 road win at James H. Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa over #4 Iowa State, the 16th ranked Red Raider basketball team was welcomed back to Lubbock with fans waiting for them at the Womble.
The Red Raiders and head coach Grant McCasland exited the bus Saturday night, greeting and thanking every fan who was out there to welcome them home.
The win over the Cyclones moved Texas Tech up into a tie for second place in the Big 12 standings along with #5 Houston. Up next, the 16th ranked Red Raiders are back home Tuesday, Mar. 3, hosting TCU at 6 p.m.
