After a clear, sunny week in North Texas, the region is heading into March on a warmer note.

Sunday is starting cloudy, but the day is expected to gradually turn sunny, reaching a high near 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Wind gusts are expected to be as high as 20 mph during the day.

At night, temperatures are forecast to bottom out at 58 degrees with some cloud cover.

The coming week is expected to be hot with day temperatures mostly in the 80s. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms starting Tuesday night and continuing for the rest of the week.
