While many are enjoying brunch this Sunday, the Texas Longhorns will be playing basketball.
Texas is set to close out its regular season with a road game against Alabama that tips off at 11 a.m. Ranked fourth and 24th in the Associated Press poll, Texas (27-3, 12-3) and Alabama (21-8, 7-8) have now met in three straight seasons with one of those matchups taking place in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. This is the first-ever trip to Tuscaloosa for UT, which owns a 4-0 lead in its all-time series with Alabama.
The result of the Texas-Alabama game and a few other Sunday scores in the SEC will dictate if the Longhorns are the second, third or fourth seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
