One person was killed and two people were injured in a shooting at a business near Fort Worth Meacham International Airport early Sunday, police said.

Officers responded to the shooting about 3:40 a.m. at 1211 Northwest 35th St., police said in a news release.

When officers arrived, they found one person with an apparent gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people injured in the shooting were found at local hospitals, police said

Investigators determined a large group of people were gathered outside in the parking lot when a fight broke out during which shots were fired, police said.

The person who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No arrests have been announced in the case. Police said homicide detectives are investigating further details about what led to the shooting.
