Austin has police and first responders all over downtown and they were there in less than a minute…this isn’t about politics of red state or blue city and who would keep us “safer” as the number of officers (or “good guys with guns”) is NOT the issue. Need leaders who will take an honest look at ALL factors including how easy it is to get a gun, how hateful lies are amplified on social media, lack of adequate mental healthcare, etc…without political agenda or this will continue.
