BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office continues its intensive search for Nicole “Nikki” Winder, who disappeared on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Search Efforts Intensify Across Multiple Agencies
Since Winder was reported missing, search teams have been deployed every day in a coordinated effort involving multiple local, state, and federal agencies. The search has expanded across numerous large properties along FM 974, stretching from Highway 21 to Macey Road, with investigators and search personnel continuing to pursue leads and thoroughly search areas in hopes of locating her.

Beyond official agencies, local businesses and community organizations have stepped up to support the search effort. The City of Wixon Valley has provided water and essential supplies to search teams, while Joe’s Place, Cooper’s Old Time BBQ, and Raging Bull Tacos have donated meals to volunteers and personnel.
The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy Alumni and the College Station Police Department Citizen’s Academy Alumni have also contributed by helping fund food and essential items for search teams.
