ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Mavericks return home to Clay Gould Ballpark on Monday, March 2, for a non-conference single game matchup against the Air Force Falcons. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT.
UTA enters the matchup at , while Air Force comes in at 2-8 on the 2026 season. The Mavericks are coming off a series loss at No.6 Arkansas, one of the top programs in the country.
GAME NOTES
UT Arlington returns to Clay Gould Ballpark for its fifth home game of the season after competing on the road at No. 6 Arkansas.
Zach Mazoch leads the Mavericks with a .364 batting average and 16 hits through 11 games, pacing the club with 22 total bases while adding seven RBI.
Preston Knott is hitting .333 and leads UTA with nine runs scored and four doubles, providing production near the top of the lineup.
Xavier Melendez has started all 11 games and is batting .319 with 15 hits and five walks, continuing to anchor the infield.
