**Update at 11:30am 3/2/2026**
The search continues for Avianna. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office has commented on the latest timeline and why no AMBER Alert has been issued.
We have verified an updated timeline for Avianna’s disappearance. The last camera footage of
Avianna shows her in her backyard at 5:24 p.m. She was reported missing to law enforcement at
approximately 6:10 pm. Law enforcement officers for the Sheriff’s Office and partner agencies
were out last night, canvassing the area on foot. That search has not stopped and is continuing
today. We are utilizing all resources available, including helicopters, camera systems, and
available missing person protocols. Currently, Avianna does not meet the qualifications for a
statewide Amber Alert. She has been reported as a missing person, and we are continuing to
issue missing person notices to raise public awareness.
