LUBBOCK, Texas (KTRE) – Former Lovelady Lady Lion Mihyia Davis hit her third home run of the season in Texas Tech’s 24-1 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday.
Texas Tech beat North Texas 7-2 in the second game.
In the first game, Davis started in center field and batted leadoff. She was 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. In the third inning, Davis hit a solo home run over the left-field wall to put the Red Raiders up 20-1. In the second game, Davis was 1-for-4 with a run.
This season, Davis is batting .506 and has 22 stolen bases.
Texas Tech has won 11 games in a row and improved to 22-1 overall. The Red Raiders head to Houston on Friday for a three-game series with the Cougars.
