EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A gunman robbed a Northeast El Paso Circle K at gunpoint and investigators are asking the public to help identify the suspect.

On Feb. 8, at 12:56 a.m., a customer was at the counter at the Circle K store at 10567 Rushing when a man armed with a gun walked in.

Police said the suspect pointed the weapon at the clerk and then the customer, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man about 5-foot-8, in his mid-20s to early 30s, light-complexioned and with an average build.

He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a dark hooded jacket, a black mask, navy blue Aero 1987 running pants and black Nike Air Force 1 shoes. Investigators said he walked out of the store toward Trojan Drive.

Crime Stoppers of El Paso is assisting the El Paso Police Department in seeking information on the armed robbery as its Crime of the Week.
