BEDFORD – A lifelong resident of Texas, Molly Cowan was born in November of 1974 and died in Fort Worth, Texas at the too young age of 51. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. The only daughter of Bill Cowan and Teresa Turner, Molly was the smart sibling; graduating from RL Paschal High School summa cum laude, the University of Texas at Austin with Honors, the University of Nottingham with Distinction, and the University of Texas School of Law with Honors. When not practicing law, she enjoyed bobbing in the ocean at Cancun, all dogs, most cats, travel, true crime, ballroom dancing, action movies, sarcasm and coconut cream pie. Like her mother, she was vehemently opposed to spicy foods. Survivors include her beloved husband, Nadir Daoud, and his two daughters, Taleen and Zeina; brother, Gil Cowan; sister-in-law, Tanya Babitch; BFF, Sian Brannon; Bryce Hewitt; and her many friends and loyal coworkers at Hallett & Perrin, who have shown such fantastic concern for her well being. A memorial will be held at the Oak Shadow Townhomes Clubhouse, 314 Rustling Leaves Lane, in Bedford, TX, on March 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Pie will be served. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
