Top Farmers’ Markets in Lubbock You Should Visit
The biggest area farmers’ market is the Wolfforth Farmers Market, which is held every Saturday of the year from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. I highly recommend getting there early, around 9:30 a.m., to secure the best parking.

The market is located at 8924 County Rd 7100, Wolfforth, but if you just keep driving west on 82nd/ Donald Preston Drive from Lubbock, you’ll run into it.
The Wolfforth’s Farmers Market is big and busy with a huge selection of produce, meats/ cheeses/ eggs, live animals and plants, art and artisan goods, and tons of baked goods. This market also has plenty of food trucks and even alcohol sales, and live music.
The Lubbock Downtown Farmer’s Market is on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at 5th Street & Avenue J. The season for it runs late May through mid-October.

This is a more intimate, laid-back market that still offers plenty of produce, baked goods, art, artisan items, plants, and more. There are also plenty of food and drinks to enjoy, all in the arts district- providing great vibes and a good opportunity to take pictures, too.
Idalou is a short drive from north Lubbock and is home to the Idalou Farmers Market. Its season is June through August. It is located at 103 W 1st St and open every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
