EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Burlington Stores is expanding in El Paso with a new location planned to open this spring at Yarbrough Plaza in east El Paso.
Burlington Stores, Inc. announced that it will open a store at 10501 Gateway Blvd. West, Building 9.
The company said the El Paso opening will be the 148th store to open in Texas.
The retailer, once known primarily as a destination for coats and outerwear, said it now offers deals of up to 60% off other retailers on branded merchandise for the entire family and home, including apparel, beauty and decor.
Burlington officials said new merchandise arrives daily.
The El Paso store will feature Burlington’s reimagined store design, which the company said is part of a broader strategy to modernize its stores and make it easier for shoppers to find brands. The updated format includes wider, more organized aisles and bold signage intended to improve navigation. Burlington said more than half of its existing locations have already been converted, with remaining stores expected to transition by the end of 2026.
A specific opening date will be announced at a later time, store officials said.
Burlington also promoted employment opportunities tied to its expansion, encouraging applicants to visit BurlingtonStores.jobs.
