COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M baseball faces an in-state foe Tuesday after returning from Arlington.
The Aggies (10-1) welcome Incarnate Word to Olsen Field for the 10th time in program history and the fourth in as many seasons. The Cardinals (7-5) have won only once against A&M, a 6-5 victory in 2019.
Last season, the Aggies defeated Incarnate Word in seven innings, 21-1.
The Cardinals have struggled on the road so far, winning only one of their four away games. Last weekend, they dropped two of three at Houston Christian, being outscored 28-18 in the final two games.
A&M has been perfect at home this year, winning all eight games at Blue Bell Park. It’s scored seven or more runs in six of those games.
