Apex Pickleball Clubs and PickleDilly’s

Apex Pickleball Clubs is now open in Cedar Park with 16 courts, certified coaches and a built-in restaurant and bar—PickleDilly’s. The pickleball club offers private and group lessons, leagues, clinics and a pro shop with paddles and balls. The restaurant serves burgers, salads, sandwiches, steak frites and more.

Curbside Compost

Cedar Park resident Gary Parente established Curbside Compost in Williamson County last fall to make composting more accessible and help community members be more sustainable, he said. Curbside Compost provides an airtight bin for residents to dispose of their food scraps in, which they will then put on the curb for their scheduled pick-up day.

Gather & Deliver

Farm-to-consumer delivery company Gather & Deliver is now operating out of Cedar Park, bringing farm-fresh products to customers across the Greater Austin area. Customers can choose from a variety of produce, honey, dairy and meat, according to the company’s website.

Little Leaps Play Café

The play cafe brings together an indoor play area, community events, bilingual story times and birthday parties. The family and Latina-owned business—designed by a mom and for moms—is designed for families with children under 6 years old, co-owner Angela Simpson said.

Planet Fitness

The gym chain offers cardio and strength training equipment, free fitness classes and community amenities such as locker rooms, showers and free Wi-Fi. Black Card memberships provide access to massage chairs, tanning beds and free guest passes.

Rise Dental

Rise Dental is now serving the Cedar Park area, with a focus on comprehensive and preventive treatment options along with ongoing patient education. The new dental practice is doctor-owned and led by biological dentist Thu Trinh and restorative dentist Robert Banh.

Dirty soda shop Swig brought its first Austin-area location to Anderson Mill in February. The shop is known for its customizable menu of soda flavors, including Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola, with fruits and creams to add in, such as mango, blackberry, vanilla cream and coconut cream.

Crestline at Brushy Creek

Toll Brothers will open a community of luxury homes, with houses expected to be open for sale in early 2026, according to a news release. Crestline at Brushy Creek will include two collections of single-family homes with one- and two-story floor plans available. An amenity center for the new housing development is expected to break ground later this month, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

Dribble Soccer

Dribble Soccer is eyeing a spring opening in Cedar Park, with an indoor facility for skill building, recreational leagues and camps, according to co-owner Vivin Abraham. Dribble Soccer, owned by Bijoy James, Shopith Shylarajan and Abraham, will feature seasonal camps, leagues, private event space and an All Star FC academy.

Duff’s Famous Wings

Buffalo-born Duff’s Famous Wings will open a new location near Lakeline Mall. Duff’s is known for its classic Buffalo-style wings, hot red sauce, celery sticks and blue cheese. The menu also includes fried favorites such as fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, cheese fries and more.

A new Petbar location is headed to Leander, projected to open this summer, according to franchisees Luisa and Orlando Solis. Petbar offers a range of grooming services, including self-service wash, professional dog grooming, as well as a dog bath and brush service.

Scheels

Scheels announced on its website that the company will host a grand opening at its Cedar Park location Aug. 29. The 300,000-square-foot store will feature 75 specialty shops, a 65-foot indoor Ferris wheel, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium and Ginna’s Café, which will serve soups and sandwiches.

Café Java

The longtime fixture in northwest Austin, with locations in Round Rock and now Cedar Park, celebrated 30 years of operation in January. The restaurant and coffee shop offers a wide variety of breakfast items, salads, burgers and specialty coffee beverages.

Church of Whitestone, located inside The Crossover, is undergoing renovations to include new classrooms for the Whitestone Kids ministry and new offices for the staff. Services will not be impacted during the construction, according to a spokesperson from the church.

Mandola’s Italian Kitchen

The locally owned restaurant from Damian and Trina Mandola is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Mandola’s first opened in North Austin’s The Triangle in 2006. Since then, it has expanded to three additional Austin-area locations, including in Southwest Austin, Bee Cave and Cedar Park.

The Peached Tortilla launched a new expansion in Cedar Park called The Backyard, featuring a new playscape and outdoor dining area as well as a separate menu from the indoor dining room. The new menu includes dinner dishes such as the banh mi taco and pesto udon.

The Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen

The restaurant and bar debuted a newly expanded dining room area, featuring 24 additional seats, modern finishes and a mural wall, according to a February Instagram post. During renovations, The Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen removed the Lola Savannah Coffee Lounge.

Francesca’s

After 26 years in business, Houston-based clothing retail chain Francesca’s started the process of liquidating all merchandise and closing all stores in mid-January, according to a letter from company officials to the Texas Workforce Commission. The company operates more than 450 stores in over 45 states. Of the 52 stores in Texas, there is one in Cedar Park.
