Donovan Berry, 18, accused of shooting a security guard in El Paso, was arrested in Buffalo, according to the U.S. Marshals.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Texas teen who was wanted for allegedly shooting a security guard in El Paso, was arrested in Buffalo Tuesday morning.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Donovan Berry, 18, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. at a residence in the City of Buffalo. He remains held at the Erie County Holding Center as a fugitive from justice.
Officials say in December 2025, Berry and another individual allegedly shot a security guard at a local bar in El Paso.
The U.S. Service’s NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force says they received a tip from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force that Berry was wanted for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and may have fled to the Buffalo area.
The US Marshals Task Force is thanking New York State Police, Erie County Sheriff’s, Niagara County Sherrif’s, Buffalo Police Department, and the Akron Police Department for their efforts help with the arrest.
