Arlington crews battle 2-alarm fire at apartment complex Tuesday evening, officials say

Firefighters responded to an apartment fire just before 8 p.m. Tuesday on Forest Point Drive in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington fire crews battled a 2-alarm fire at an apartment complex Tuesday evening, officials say. 

Firefighters responded to an active fire just before 8 p.m. Tuesday on Forest Point Drive in Arlington

When crews arrived on the scene, they found heavy fire coming from the roof of a unit at the apartment complex.

A second alarm was requested to help douse the flames. Its not clear exactly when and if the fire was put out.
