SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Law enforcement agencies in San Antonio and Bexar County are on high alert as the United States – Israeli war with Iran continues.
Sunday morning’s mass shooting in downtown Austin is another reason you can expect to see a greater police presence during events like St. Patrick’s Day and Fiesta.
Both the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the San Antonio Police Department are expecting to put more officers on the street and at popular destinations in the days and weeks ahead. Locations that might see additional law enforcement include Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World San Antonio and The Alamo downtown. Churches and other places of worship could also see increased patrols.
If you see something suspicious, you are urged to contact police right away.
