Classes and in-person activities were canceled on the campus of UT Dallas on Wednesday due to a power outage, officials said.
RICHARDSON, Texas — The University of Texas at Dallas cancelled classes on Wednesday after a power outage on campus, officials said.Â
In a social media post on Wednesday afternoon, UT Dallas said power was out at many of the buildings on its main campus. As a result, the school canceled all classes and in-person activities until power is restored, the post states.Â
Oncor is working to resolve the issue, the school said. The Callier Center Richardson is not affected, the post states.Â
Employees with power should continue to work as normal, the school said.Â
The school said it will provide more updates when it can.Â
