AUSTIN, Texas — Spotify has announced a 20th anniversary celebration for South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, featuring performances by Alanis Morissette and country singer Ella Langley. There will also be a DJ set from Annie Clark, who is better known as St. Vincent.
The event is called “Spotify 20: Live at Stubb’s,” and will in fact be live from Stubb’s on March 14. The concert will be open to all music and platinum badgeholders.
Spotify’s presence will be felt throughout the conference as there will be a panel featuring co-CEO Gustav Söderström in conversation with country star Laney Wilson and podcast host David Friedberg on Friday, March 13. Also, Spotify Chief Public Affairs Officer Dustee Jenkins will have a conversation with pop star and actor Nick Jonas discussing “staying power in music, culture, and life,” according to the company’s announcement on their activity at the conference.
The streaming service has also created a playlist to commemorate the event.
