Family-owned sweets truck opens in New Braunfels

Sugar & Spice – Sweets and Sips—owned by Christiana Luna-Guajardo—opened Feb. 20 at 121 E. Faust St. The family-owned sweets truck sells a variety of mini doughnuts and a rotating menu of hand-squeezed lemonades.

Scooter’s Coffee closes, reopens as Pit Stop Cafe near Boerne

Previously a franchised location for Scooter’s Coffee, the rebranded cafe Pit Stop Cafe offers a full espresso menu featuring iced and hot coffee, tea and more, according to its website. There’s also a new selection of dirty sodas and an expanded food menu.

CAVA now open within the Schertz Station development

CAVA has continued expansion in Northeast San Antonio with a new restaurant in a growing development. The new eatery features build-your-own bowls and pita wraps topped with Greek-inspired items such as tzatziki, harissa and various dressings, according to the menu.

A new tech-focused, mobile ice cream truck is now serving a selection of gourmet ice cream to residents throughout Northeast San Antonio, including Schertz, Cibolo, Live Oak and Universal City, owner Steven Johns said.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar now open near Huebner Oaks in San Antonio

The gourmet burger chain opened its third overall location in the Greater San Antonio area. Hopdoddy Burger Bar specializes in gourmet, specialty burgers. Popular menu items include The Cadillac Burger and The Wagyu Smash.

New Taco Bell to open soon in North San Antonio

The fast food restaurant offers specialties such as the Crunchwrap Supreme, Mexican pizzas and grilled cheese burritos, according to its menu. There are 38 total Taco Bell locations throughout the Greater San Antonio area, according to the store locator.
