HOUSTON, Texas (KLTV) — Former Beckville Bearcat Tyler Bryan pitched a scoreless inning in relief in Houston’s 5-2 loss to Sam Houston on Tuesday.
The senior right-hander entered the game in the eighth inning and gave up one hit and one walk while striking out one. Bryan has eight strikeouts this season and has lowered his ERA to 4.15.
For Sam Houston, Tate Hickman of Woodville pitched to two batters, giving up one hit and one walk.
Houston (7-5) hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff for a three-game series starting Friday. Sam Houston (5-7) hosts Prairie View for a three-game series starting Friday.
