Flower Mound Marcus’ loss to Denton Guyer paves the way for a new top team in Class 6A in Southlake Carroll. Despite Plano East’s wins over Plano West this season, recent form has West taking over East in the rankings.
Frisco Heritage is the big winner this week with its 3-2 win over Liberty. Back-to-back losses for Highland Park drops the team down to 8th.
Girls soccer
South Grand Prairie makes its debut in the Top 10 following Flower Mound’s loss to Marcus. Coppell’s recent form keeps the program moving up the rankings as well, including a 14-0 win over Denton Braswell.
The top half of Class 5A stays untouched but losses by Argyle and Colleyville Heritage makes room for the Midlothian programs and Birdville to creep up the leaderboards.
